Nara Park!

My spring break began at the end of the Silk Road in Nara. These are pictures of Katsuga Shrine (the orange one) and Todaji. These are both World Heritage Sites, and both beautiful. Todaji is famous for the big Buddha which I unfortunately didn't get a good photo of. Katsuga Shrine had a festival the day before we arrived which is a prayer for World Peace. We hope to time our trip better next year so we can attend!
