Last night in BKK - Chinatown!

The last few nights we stayed in Chinatown. It is not a very convenient place with regard to public transit, but there was plenty to see and explore just outside the hotel.

Even though I lived in San Francisco for many years and rarely went to Chinatown and nearly never ate there, I had a few good meals in BKK Chinatown. The markets were a fusion of Chinese and Thai, woks sizzling at outdoor eateries, shouts from merchants selling just about every fruit imaginable to passersby with the brilliant lights keeping the place hopping until early morning.
