Busy in Bangkok - November
Late November 2006 - As you may know a portion of my thesis research involves a transboundary conservation project between Thailand, Cambodia and initially Laos. To get a better understanding from those in the know regarding the project and developing participatory forestry practices I went to Bangkok to meet with a few professors who did surveys and wrote reports for the project, met with a forestry official, and some individuals from environmental NGOs. A busy week!
But you know me, I managed to squeeze a bit of fun in as well. Here are some pics from week one of the trip in BKK. The first stop was Wat Arun, a georgeous temple on the opposite side of the Chao Phraya River from the city.
