Koh Chang - Penny's Bungalows

Even amidst the plethora of noises and animals scrambling around outside the bungalow, we realized that it was also absurdly comical. Like a Chevy Chase movie where everything goes wrong. As amusing as this was in a wat, this was not a vibe we wanted to continue with. Luckily we found refuge (though not from the belching frogs) and relaxation at Penny's.

Penny is a short Thai woman who owns the place and as near as we can tell runs it with her kids, many of whom work at the place and speak pretty decent English. Although outside our conversations and those in the little restaurant on site the languages around the poolside were mainly Dutch, German, Swedish.
