Trip to Maine - Aug 2010, Morning @ the Lakehouse (5)

While on my trip I had promised my nephew William that I would stay overnight at the Lakehouse that they rent for their holiday.

As I was sleeping in the living room, which has glass sliding doors facing the lake I was awoken early but this beautiful sunrise. Annoyed to be awake initially, but once I looked out the window I forgot that feeling because of this view....














My grandmother told me that while she was sitting on the porch looking out at the lake with 4 and a half year old William one morning he looked over at her and said "Mimi, this really IS a beautiful spot isn't it?". Indeed! Here is another photo from that morning...
